Deaf Awareness Week 2009

At Stellenbosch University

The University of Stellenbosch's Office for Students with Special Learning Needs is organising awareness activities entitled : "Do you want to learn Sign Language and be involved in disability - awareness activities?" Dtv's Annual Deaf Awareness Poetry

Zwakala is Dtv's annual deaf awareness poetry and drama competition. 22 schools for the Deaf nationwide participated with 133 entrants. Zwakala is been screened on Dtv from 26 July till 13 Dec 2009. It is our 3rd Zwakala competition and big prizes to be won for learners and their schools.
