While in Cape Town, Candice Morgan met up with Jabulile Ngwenya, the head of public relations for African Agency Newswire. Jabulile has always had a passion for communication, and landing this role wasn’t only a natural progression for her career wise, it also gave her the opportunity to move to Cape Town.

Jabulile talks about her responsibilities as head of PR, before some of her colleagues talk to Candice about her work ethic and skill at delivering great copy.

Portchie

A little under an hour outside of Cape Town is Stellenbosch, home to prolific artist Portchie. Portchie’s path to art was by way of an education in economics and transport economics, followed by a job at Spoornet. Portchie’s first large exhibition was with 100 paintings, which he sold in one night. He has gone on to sell more than 16,000 paintings since 1994.
